
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to manage end-to-end AP operations, vendor governance, reconciliations, and payment processes. The role requires strong ownership of AP controls, SLA adherence, stakeholder coordination, and ERP-driven finance operations.
This position is ideal for candidates who have moved beyond transaction processing and are comfortable driving process accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement in a structured finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage end-to-end Accounts Payable operations, including vendor maintenance, invoice processing, exception handling, reconciliations, payments, and reporting.
- Execute and oversee vendor payment processing, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to internal controls.
- Manage Vendor Master data, including validations, updates, audits, and data hygiene.
- Perform vendor reconciliations and resolve discrepancies proactively.
- Ensure SLA and TAT adherence across all AP activities.
- Handle intercompany registrations and reconciliations.
- Support month-end close by ensuring all AP transactions are processed and accounted for accurately.
- Act as a key liaison with banks, treasury teams, and internal stakeholders on payment and process related matters.
- Collaborate with purchasing, warehouse, and finance teams to define metrics and drive process improvements.
- Support automation and RPA initiatives to enhance efficiency and control.
Eligibility & Experience
- 4-6 years of hands-on experience in Accounts Payable operations.
- Strong understanding of AP controls, reconciliations, and compliance.
- Exposure to manufacturing environments and global AP operations is preferred.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or JD Edwards.
- Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
