Responsibilities:
a) Investor communications:
- Handling investor queries, periodic data requests, investor due diligence (incl checklists) and ensuring timely and accurate resolution - for both institutional and HNI investors.
- Handling distributor queries and ensuring timely reporting to distributors as per their requirements.
- Follow up on payment of drawdown notices by investors.
- Manage investor communications, including sharing of statements, reports, notices, fund updates, drawdown and distribution communications, and other investor-related information.
- Assist in performing KYC, screening, and onboarding of investors as per AML norms and internal policy of the entity, including re-KYC.
- Ensuring timely completion of change requests from investors relating to KYC details, bank accounts, contact information, nominations, tax status, including transfer, transmission, pledge, demat details. Ensuring maintenance of investor master database.
- Drafting quarterly reports, bulletins, and other communications with various stakeholders such as investors, distributors, regulators, service providers, etc.
- To maintain SOPs and checklist for all investor servicing related activity.
- Liaise with Compliance, Fund Accounting, Finance, Fund raising and other internal teams to facilitate efficient processing of investor requests.
- Assist in the handling and resolution of investor complaints and grievances.
- Assisting Fund raising team with data requests for investor meetings or presentations.
- Assisting in planning & coordination for investor conference, events relating to investors.
- Monitor service levels and turnaround times and contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, distributors, intermediaries, and other key stakeholders.
b) Accounting and reporting:
- Assisting in demat corporate action and reconciliation.
- Preparation of MIS for reporting to investors and management.
- Maintain cordial relations with service providers, monitoring of SLAs with them.
- Assisting fund accounting team for any data collation / information sharing.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Chartered Accountant or MBA with experience of 4 - 6 years post qualification.
- Experience in working with customer / client facing activities in wealth management, distributor, AIF, or any other securities market or bank or financial services is required.
- Knowledge of AML/KYC, FATCA/CRS, customer due diligence, and related regulatory requirements would be an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. (Fluency in English is required).
- Ability to manage multiple requests and deliver within stringent turnaround timelines.
- High level of ownership, accountability, and responsiveness; with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting tools.
- Proactive nature.
- Learning / adaptability skills.
- Ability to work in a team.
