AM Plant HR
The HR Generalist is expected to work closely with the HRBP on the HR strategy for manufacturing and agriculture with focus on building and strengthening internal capabilities and delivering business goals.
Roles and Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:
HR Ops and EEC:
- Collaborate with regional HRBPs and business leaders to identify and address barriers to shared services adoption.
- Capability for operational employees i.e., training to enable employees to action required changes, employee details, recruitment opportunities, compliance training.
- Lead quarterly knowledge sharing sessions with regional stakeholders - present learnings and updates on EEC (shared services) trends, tools, process improvements and change process requirements.
- Review, update and maintain HR Now (our regional shared services knowledge repository) with up to-date resources, FAQs, and process documentation
- Review, update and maintain success factors employee data and conduct periodic audits
- Manage employee leave of absence processes, accommodations, and wellness initiatives with vendors and via HR systems (e.g., Short Term Disability).
- Partner with reward specialist and insurance vendor to ensure support to employee claims settlement
- Ensure timely validation of payroll and overtime data to payroll specialist
- Support timely data for all audits, data maintenance, and SLA adherence
- Lead the onboarding of new hires; ensure compliance with onboarding procedures, collaborating with site operations.
Business Partnership:
- Regularly update HR systems and present workforce analytics and share HR Dashboards monthly/quarterly to Stakeholders including but not limited to monthly HR connects, MBR and MDI
- Share insights and trends with key stakeholders to drive more effective / efficient HR and strategy
- Work with HRBP on AOC recommendations for FTE's
- Compile workforce analytics to develop people insights, sharing with HRBP, PLT and functional heads.
- Publish monthly and quarterly dashboards on headcount, organizational structure, and workforce composition.
- Maintain and circulate org charts, providing insights for stakeholders and management.
- Regularly update HR systems and present workforce analytics reports to the HR Director and HRBPs.
- Prepare data for workforce planning through analysis of data trends and benchmarks.
Engagement Champion:
- Key role in leading and anchoring employee engagement for Manufacturing, Agriculture and Quality
- Monitor retention risks and support initiatives for talent retention and development.
- Support HRBP in driving timely reward and recognition of employees as guidelines.
- Driving innovative methods of engagement to build impactful Employee Welfare and Fun at Work initiatives with clear cut VOC
- Coach and Train the people managers to develop action plans.
- Collaborate with managers and HRBPs in execution of action plan. Publish dashboards to build accountability among managers.
- Drive communication around the engagement survey at various phases
Talent Management:
- Work with HRBP to support Talent Reviews for Manufacturing, Quality and Agriculture functions and work on outcomes.
- Work on Streamlining Apprentice/GET onboarding with homogenizing the roadmap and anchoring the Program including apprentice program
- Ensure Success Framework Launch in collaboration with HRBP across client functions
- Work on interventions based on Talent Review Discussions
Employee Pulse Connects:
- Conduct regular Pulse Connects with all employees including agriculture employees (up to Grade 5) to gain insight into pulse on the floor, employee morale trends and any underlying issues or concerns.
- Recommend specific, actionable initiatives based on insights from Pulse Connects, aimed at improving employee satisfaction, retention and productivity.
- Provide regular findings/updates to ensure that progress is measured, and issues are addressed promptly.
- Post Graduate Management / MBA in HR
- Minimum 4+ years experience in HR with atleast 3 years working in a manufacturing plant
- Excellent spoken and written command of the English Language.
- Written and Spoken knowledge of Gujarati Preferred
- Experience in Handling IR preferred
