Job Description :


We are seeking an Assistant Manager HSEQ a leading Oil and Gas Head Office in Mumbai.


Job Profile :


- Co-ordination of Internal audit to manage HSEQ Management System.


- Implementation of best HSEQ practices for e.g., IMS Implementation, BIS.


- Effectively implement "Occupational Health & Safety management Systems (OHSMS)" from inputs from OHSAS 18001: 2007 & HSEQ guidelines.


- Plan, schedule and manage the internal Audit process for HSEQ systems.


- Ensure that the Basic cause analysis, Corrective/Preventive Actions are timely and effective for results of internal and third party Audits


- Near Miss Reports/Incident Reports & investigation


- Familiar with accident investigation tools( 4M,SCAT,RCA etc)


- Prepare the agenda for and to organise the Management Review Meeting to report the performance of the HSEQ Systems as basis for improvements


- Maintain records of the management Review Meeting & internal Audits


- Organising timely procurement and maintaining adequate stock of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)


- Prepare HSEQ budgets and procurement of HSEQ items.


- Maintain contacts with trade association like TBIA, BCCI-SHE, NSC and Indus Enviro to know latest development in HSEQ issues.


- Check updates on published standards and in turn review of HSEQ System documentation.


- Maintain Legal & Other requirements register for HSEQ requirements.


- Co-ordinate with internal departments and submission of Bench Marking & Safety data to regional office


- Submit annual report related to HSEQ (combined report only) like Environmental statement and Hazardous waste generation to various statutory bodies.


- Organise for Emergency preparedness Response mock drill


Assistant Manager HSEQ Requirements :


- Engineering Degree with min 4-8 years in Petroleum / Petrochemical / Bitumen industry with at least 3 years in similar capacity or in greenfield projects.


- Mandatory ADIS (Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety) from CLI/RLI/State approved institute


- Engineering Degree in Chemical /Mechanical


- Good Knowledge on Hazardous Waste Management, Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan.


- Good Knowledge of Plant Equipment and Machinery, ERP Systems and Computers.


- Excellent man-management, supervision and presentation skills.


- Versatility in communication / languages, job skills and hands-on approach to the manufacturing processes
