Role Overview:

The Assistant Manager - FP&A will play a key role in financial planning, forecasting, analysis, and reporting to support business decision-making. The role involves developing financial models, conducting variance analyses, improving financial processes, and providing insights to drive profitability and efficiency across functions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Financial Planning & Analysis

- Support annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles.

- Build and maintain financial models to project business performance.

- Perform variance analysis between actuals, forecasts, and budgets.

- Analyze revenue, costs, and profitability trends to identify key performance drivers.

- Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and scenario planning.

- Partner with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Marketing, Operations, and HR to understand business dynamics.

- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to guide management decisions.

- Improve and automate FP&A tools, processes, and reporting systems.

- Develop and monitor business KPIs through dashboards and management reports.

- Support business units with ad hoc financial analysis and special projects.

Required Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent professional qualification.

- 3-6 years of post-qualification experience with at least 4 years in FP&A, financial modeling, or business finance.

- Skills and Competencies

- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

- Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation abilities.

- High financial acumen with strong business understanding.

- Attention to detail combined with strategic and analytical thinking.

- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

- Problem-solving and decision-making skills with sound judgment.

- Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools.

- Experience in process improvement and automation of reporting workflows.
