Role Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Bangalore office as an Assistant Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis. In this capacity, you will serve as a strategic partner to global stakeholders, driving the financial rhythm of the business through rigorous analysis and insightful reporting. You will lead complex forecasting cycles, manage annual budgeting processes, and translate financial data into actionable narratives that influence executive decision-making. By bridging the gap between raw data and business strategy, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing operational performance and ensuring long-term fiscal health for our high-profile clients within the Big 4 ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to ensure alignment with organizational growth targets and resource allocation.

- Perform deep-dive variance analysis to identify performance trends, providing stakeholders with clear explanations for deviations and actionable recommendations for course correction.

- Develop sophisticated financial models to support strategic business initiatives, enabling leadership to evaluate the impact of various market scenarios and investment decisions.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline reporting frameworks, enhancing the accuracy and efficiency of management information systems.

- Present financial performance updates to senior management, translating complex data sets into concise, high-impact presentations that drive informed business outcomes.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting, with a strong ability to manage complex data sets within a fast-paced environment.

- Proven track record of 7-12 years in financial analysis, ideally within a Big 4 or top-tier consulting firm, showcasing a deep understanding of global financial standards.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making at the leadership level.

- Strong proficiency in advanced Excel and financial planning software, coupled with a sharp analytical mindset to solve unstructured business problems.

- A professional qualification such as CA, MBA (Finance), or CFA is preferred, reflecting a solid foundation in accounting and corporate finance principles.

- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating self-motivation and the capacity to manage multiple high-priority deliverables simultaneously.
