Assistant Manager - Financial Controller - FMCG Industry

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Financial Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting and controllership. Exposure to US GAAP is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements.

- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards (IND AS, US GAAP preferred).

- Ensure effective internal controls are in place and compliance with applicable regulations.

- Support statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits.

- Assist in managing working capital, cash flow forecasting, and treasury functions.

- Liaise with external auditors, consultants, and regulatory bodies.

- Drive process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and automation in financial reporting.

- Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with FP&A team.

- Coordinate accounting for complex transactions (e.g., leases, derivatives, intercompany, etc.) in line with US GAAP.

- Ensure timely reporting to global or regional finance teams (if applicable).

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) - Mandatory

- Minimum 5 years of relevant post-qualification experience in financial reporting and controllership
