Description: We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager, Finance to manage commercial finance for Modern Trade, Ecommerce, and Qcommerce channels across PAN India.

Reports To: Sr. Manager Finance (West).

About The Organization:

- Pioneer in the FMCG sector, leading in the trade marketing & distribution division.

- The role combines handson accounting, receivables/payables management, GST/TDS compliance, and monthend GL closures.

- Audits, MIS, and crossfunctional partnering with Sales, Marketing, and Logistics to optimize working capital and support business growth.

- Further, ensuring periodic reconciliation of the ledgers of accounts and dealing with the customer representative for sign off.

- Lead / Participate in automation projects related to Modern Trade, E-commerce, and Q-commerce channels.

Major Responsibilities:.

- Manage endto-end commercial finance for MT, ECOM, and QCOM channels across India, including customer-level accounting and controls.

- Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable processes; drive timely quarterly signoffs with Logistics, Marketing, and other stakeholders.

- Prepare and review weekly ageing, quarterly reconciliations, and follow up to ensure timely cash collections and no working capital blockages.

- Check and approve marketing claims, promotional spend,s and visibility costs based on SellIn/SellOut on a monthly and quarterly basis.

- Execute monthend GL closing activities; allocate and transfer cost and sales amounts to relevant SBUs.

- Review GST and TDS applicability on claims and sales queries raised by Marketing; ensure accurate tax treatment and documentation.

- Conduct Periodic Reconciliation of accounts and resolve issues.

- Drive automation and process improvements; lead implementations of tools and registers to enhance controls and efficiency.

- Prepare and circulate a comprehensive monthly MIS to support Sales and Logistics decision-making.

- Support internal and external audits and ad hoc financial analysis as required.

Required Experience & Qualifications:.

- Qualified Cost and Management Accountant (CMA/ICWA) or equivalent finance qualification.

- 4 to 6 years of relevant postqualification experience in finance and accounts.

- Prior experience managing commercial finance for modern trade and ecommerce channels strongly preferred.

Core Skills & Competencies:.

- Handson expertise in receivables and payables management, ageing analysis, and working capital optimization.

- Advanced Excel skills and experience in preparing actionable MIS and management presentations.

- Experience with ERP/finance systems and comfort leading digital implementations and automation initiatives.

- Excellent stakeholder management with the ability to influence Sales, Marketing, and Logistics teams.
