Assistant Manager - Finance Controller - B2B AgriTech Startup

One of our B2B segment client, is hiring a AM - Finance Controller. This opportunity is with a well established startup, funded and growing at a steady pace, one of the most emerging sectors in the startup environment. They are looking for sharp and dynamic CA to play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, improving financial processes, and acting as a strategic partner to various business units.

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Ensure accurate and timely closure of books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, with financial statements prepared in line with accounting standards and company policies.

- Support internal and external audits, address audit queries, and ensure statutory, regulatory, and tax compliance.

- Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard assets, enhance governance, and improve process efficiency.

- Manage core finance operations including reconciliations, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, cost control, and financial modeling.

Qualifications:

- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-4 years post-qualification experience

- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and audit coordination.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with strong business acumen.

- Proficient in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel, with the ability to work under pressure and partner with non-finance teams.
