About the role: - Looking for a Senior Accountant. This is a company that is growing quickly and now needs a fulltime accountant to take care of responsibilities across the expense management, financial statements and reporting, record keeping, AP, AR, budgeting, forecasting, tax, compliance, gst etc. - Please note that this is a role that would require 6 days working. - Need a qualified CA with 1 to 4 years of PQE in finance, accounting and compliance. High preference to someone from the Big4 companies. - Qualification: Qualified CA Key Responsibilities: - Cash Expense Management & Reporting - Track, manage, and report all cash expenses, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliation. - Financial Record-Keeping - Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries, and ensure proper documentation for all financial transactions. - Accounts Payable & Receivable - Oversee payment cycles, vendor payments, and collections to ensure smooth cash flow management. - Financial Statements & Reporting - Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets and P&L statements, for internal and external reporting. - Bank Reconciliations & Audit Support - Perform monthly bank reconciliations and provide necessary financial data for internal and external audits. - Budgeting & Forecasting - Support financial planning by assisting in budgeting and forecasting to optimize cost management. - Process Improvement & Internal Controls - Work closely with internal teams to enhance financial processes, improve efficiency, and implement best practices. - Tax Compliance & Filings - Ensure accurate GST, TDS, and other statutory filings while staying updated on regulatory requirements. Qualifications: - Qualified CA with 1-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, and compliance. - Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation is a plus. - Experience with cash flow management, reconciliation, and expense tracking. - Proficiency in Tally, Excel, and other accounting software. - Familiarity with GST, TDS, and statutory compliance is a good to have. - Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
