Role Overview

We are hiring an experienced Area Sales Manager (ASM) to build and expand the organizations distribution and channel sales footprint across Delhi, aligned with its positioning as a global leader in the precious metals space.

This role demands strong expertise in channel sales, distributor management, trade marketing, and key account handling, with a sharp focus on market expansion, revenue growth, and channel productivity. The incumbent will operate as a business owner for the territory, driving scale, partnerships, and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Channel & Distribution Expansion

- Build, strengthen, and expand the organizations presence across multiple distribution and sales channels in Delhi.

- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, business partners, and channel associates.

- Develop and execute territory-wise distribution expansion plans.

Sales Growth & Target Achievement

- Drive achievement of sales volume, distribution width, and revenue targets.

- Monitor secondary sales, market coverage, and channel productivity.

- Execute robust sales planning to improve reach, penetration, and throughput.

Distributor & Partner Management

- Develop strong, long-term relationships with distributors and business partners.

- Ensure partner profitability, motivation, and alignment with company objectives.

- Review performance regularly and drive corrective actions where required.

Key Account Management

- Manage and grow key accounts, ensuring achievement of business targets.

- Work closely with strategic customers to maintain preferred partner status.

- Negotiate commercial terms and ensure effective execution of agreements.

Trade Marketing & Brand Execution

- Actively participate in branding initiatives, promotions, and trade marketing programs.

- Ensure effective execution of schemes, visibility, and in-market activations.

- Provide market feedback to marketing and leadership teams.

Customer & Consumer Satisfaction

- Ensure the highest levels of customer and consumer satisfaction.

- Address market issues, escalations, and service challenges promptly.

- Build trust and credibility for the brand across the channel ecosystem.

Reporting & Governance

- Track and report sales performance, distribution metrics, and market insights.

- Maintain discipline in reporting, forecasting, and compliance with company policies.

- Demonstrate strong ownership, accountability, and entrepreneurial mindset.

- Distribution expansion and channel coverage

- Sales volume, revenue, and growth targets

- Distributor and partner performance

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Must-Have:

- 810 years of experience in Distribution Sales / Channel Sales (mandatory)

- Proven track record of setting up and managing channel distribution networks

- Strong experience in distributor handling, channel management, and trade marketing

- Experience managing key accounts and achieving aggressive sales targets

Good-to-Have:

- Experience in consumer-facing, high-trust categories

- Exposure to premium or value-driven distribution models

- Strong understanding of Delhi market dynamics
