Assistant Manager/Deputy Managers - Fund Accounting

An Esteem client of Innoquest Consulting , a captive shared services unit is seeking Fund accountant professionals who can join immediately .

Role and Responsibilities:

- Calculate and review daily, weekly, or monthly Net Asset Value (NAV) for assigned funds.

- Prepare and validate financial statements and regulatory reports in accordance with IFRS, US GAAP, or relevant accounting standards.

- Perform cash, position, and transaction reconciliations with custodians, brokers, and investment managers.

- Process and validate trades, corporate actions, income, expenses, and accruals to ensure accurate fund valuation.

- Ensure compliance with fund policies, legal, tax, and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEBI, SEC, local regulators).

- Investigate and resolve breaks, exceptions, and discrepancies in a timely manner.

- Collaborate with auditors, fund managers, and clients to address accounting, valuation, and reporting queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field (CA/CPA) preferred.

- 2-6 years of experience in fund accounting, NAV calculation, or investment operations.

- Strong knowledge of financial instruments, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.

- Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with fund accounting platforms (e.g., Geneva, Multifonds, Eagle, Investran).

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
