Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager - Strategy/M&A - Manufacturing/Industrial/Automotive Sector

Role Overview:

The role will partner with the Head - Strategy & M&A to shape, evaluate, and execute growth initiatives for Mangal Industries. The individual will contribute to strategic planning , market intelligence, and M&A execution, while working closely with business units and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning:

- Drive business strategy, annual planning, and align execution with organizational goals.

- Build business cases, track initiatives, and deliver leadership/board-level insights.

Market Intelligence:

- Analyze industry trends, competition, and regulatory landscape to generate insights.

- Identify growth opportunities, adjacencies, and develop market entry strategies.

M&A / Inorganic Growth:

- Evaluate acquisition/partnership opportunities and assess strategic fit.

- Support valuation, due diligence, and prepare investment notes and transaction materials.

Qualifications & Experience:

- MBA (Finance/Strategy) from a reputed institution or a CA

- 2+ years of work experience in: Investment Banking / M&A advisory

- Strategy consulting

- Corporate strategy / corporate development

- Experience in manufacturing / industrial / automotive sectors

- Exposure to end-to-end M&A lifecycle
