Position Summary:
Gallagher Service Center LLP is seeking a skilled and motivated Assistant Manager to join our Property and Casualty Insurance team. This role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, fostering a high-performing team environment, and delivering exceptional service to our clients. Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, the Assistant Manager will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of processes and team effectiveness within the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
Primary Responsibilities-
As an Assistant Manager, your key responsibilities will include:
1. Operational Excellence:
- Understand operational requirements specific to Property and Casualty Insurance.
- Research best practices and assist in designing and implementing new processes and tools to enhance efficiency.
2. Team Leadership:
- Cultivate a team environment that delivers exceptional customer service.
- Ensure all team members perform at consistently high levels.
- Motivation, instill accountability, and drive measurable results.
3. Team Effectiveness:
- Oversee the performance and effectiveness of a team of Process Associates.
- Provide day-to-day coordination of team activities to ensure smooth operations.
4. Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports to monitor team performance and identify improvement opportunities.
5. Customer Interaction:
- Interact with customers to manage their queries and provide timely resolutions.
- Respond to written and electronic correspondence promptly and professionally.
6. Leadership Experience:
- Lead a team of 10+ FTEs, with at least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead on paper.
Additional Responsibilities
1. Exhibit a positive attitude and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
2. Drive process improvement initiatives through Kaizen and projects tailored to Property and Casualty Insurance workflows.
3. Enhance organizational reputation by taking ownership and accountability for team deliverables.
Skills and Competencies:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Proven people management skills and a track record of success in service delivery within the Property and Casualty Insurance domain.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and improve team performance.
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
- A good academic record (50% or above).
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Any Graduate/Postgraduate (Preferably Commerce).
Work Experience:
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience in the BPO/KPO industry, with a focus on Property and Casualty Insurance.
- At least 1 year of experience as a Team Lead on paper, currently designated as a Team Lead.
