Job Title: Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager / Manager
Department: Security
CRITERIA:
1. Ex-servicemen below age 48 - Voluntarily retired from Air Force or Navy.
2. Clean Character & Antecedents record.
3. Minimum 05 years' experience in Manufacturing company.
JOB PURPOSE:
1. Supervise the security team to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures for overall Plant Safety.
2. Handle Security breaches & Safety incidents and maintain records, thereof.
3. Organise and coordinate security staff rotas duty roster and responsibilities including QRT/Fire Tender personnel.
4. Communicate effectively with other department members and ensure prompt support.
5. Ensure all security equipment & electronic security assets is in good working condition.
6. Perform other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as assigned in the interest of organisation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Physical Security:
- Men, Material & vehicle movements at site properly monitored.
- Record Maintenance
- Surprise Checking
- Incident Management
- Audit handling
2. Emergency Response:
- Periodical Fire drills
- Coordinate verbally and through mail follow ups for Fire Tender maintenance & its accessories.
- Maintaining 5S
- Handle Emergency situation at site while on duty as per site policies.
3. Electronic Security:
- Ensure electronic security gadgets are in working condition.
- Timely Report Generation
- Crisis Communication
4. Security Team Management:
- Scheduling Duty Roster & job allocation for shift security personnel
- Briefing/Debriefing
- Security Team Turnout & discipline
- Regular patrolling & checks - Training
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
1. Any qualification - Regular/Correspondence from a recognized university.
2. Certification in Fire.
COMPETENCIES:
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Basic MS Office skills - Word, PPT, Excel
- Verbal & Written Communication skills in Tamil & English
- Attention to detail & ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
