Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-oriented Sales Manager/Deputy Manager/Assistant Manager with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in business development, specifically tasked with driving the sales of DG (Diesel Generator) sets. This role requires strong sales strategy execution, excellent customer engagement skills, and the capability to achieve ambitious sales targets for both unit volume and value within the assigned region.

Key Responsibilities:

Target Achievement and Revenue Generation:

- Aggressively achieve assigned DG set sales targets for both unit volume and value within the designated sales region.

- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to expand market share across various business segments requiring power generation solutions.

- Utilize strong ability to plan, strategize, and achieve sales targets through effective pipeline management and forecasting.

Product Promotion and Market Development:

- Drive focused awareness and promotion of GCL DG sets across all target business segments (e.g., commercial, industrial, infrastructure).

- Leverage regional sales expertise, with a strong preference for prior experience in the DG sets industry, to identify and capitalize on market opportunities.

- Conduct competitive analysis and provide market intelligence to inform product and pricing strategies.

Customer Experience and Lifecycle Management:

- Ensure an excellent pre-sales, sales, and post-sales customer experience is delivered consistently to build long-term client relationships.

- Maintain a pleasing personality and customer-oriented approach throughout all interactions, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.

- Coordinate effectively with technical, logistics, and service teams to ensure seamless installation and after-sales support.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of proven sales and business development experience, preferably in industrial or capital goods.

Domain Expertise: Experience in the DG sets industry or similar industrial equipment sales is highly preferred.

Behavioral Competencies: Mandatory strong written & verbal communication skills and a high degree of customer focus.

Preferred Skills:

Proven track record of consistently exceeding large, complex sales targets.

Technical understanding of diesel generator sets (kW ratings, components, applications).

Expertise in negotiation and large-contract management.
