B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or related discipline with relevant industry experience

Experience:

- 3 to 12 years, depending on the position

Assistant Manager: 3-6 years

Deputy Manager: 6-9 years

Manager (Operations): 9-12 years

Job Description

- Hands-on experience in production operations of Complex Fertilizer, Phosphoric Acid (Wet Process), or Sulphuric Acid (DCDA) plants, including monitoring process parameters, product quality, and safe operations.

- The candidate should have exposure to plant operations through DCS / PLC / SCADA systems and possess sound knowledge in interpreting plant trends, alarms, events, interlocks, and control loops. Must be capable of effective troubleshooting of operational upsets and stabilizing the plant within safe operating limits.

- Exposure to Process Safety Management (PSM) systems, ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 / ISO 45001, and other system-driven processes is essential to ensure adherence to regulatory compliance, safe operating procedures, and audit preparedness.

- Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM), 5S implementation, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing concepts, and other Business Excellence frameworks is desirable, as these enhance productivity, workplace organization, and continuous improvement.

- The candidate must have exposure to unit operations and processes such as granulation, melting, vacuum evaporation, crystallization, catalytic and non-catalytic reactions, and various reactor operations. A good understanding of chemical reaction engineering and process optimization will be advantageous.

- Operational experience with rotary equipment such as granulators, rotary dryers, ball mills, and various crushing and screening equipment is required.
