Global insurance brokerage client.

Looking for someone with more than 6 years of experience in General Accounting.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage & enhance books of accounts, validate ledger entries and perform matching exercise on daily basis.

- Perform regular audits - reconciliations for brokerage and accounts receivable, resolving discrepancies, establish clear guidance for clearance, and always ensure compliance per financial standards.

- Create, verify, and issue invoices, coordinate with clients & insurers for timely payments, and maintain organized invoicing records.

- Suggest and implement improvements to accounting processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

- Collaborate with internal teams, communicate with clients, work with underwriters, and liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations and compliance.

- Assist in preparing financial reports, analyze financial data, and support audits with necessary documentation.

- Coordinate closely with brokers to ensure smooth processing of all transactions, maintaining clear communication and addressing issues promptly.

- Ability to think critically and make sound judgments based on the evidence presented.

Education and Required Skills :

- Graduate in Finance/Accounting or Postgraduate with any Specialization.

- Technical Expertise in MS Excel basic and advanced formula for reporting purpose.

- Experience in INDAS and experience in general accounting, reconciliation, Journal ledger, P&L, etc
