Finance Business Partner | AM/DM | Remote | UK shift | CA


We are looking for a Finance Business partner role with a leading organisation.

Role Overview

You'll be a trusted partner to our onsite leadership, providing reliable data, sharp analysis, and forward-looking projections. Your insights will directly influence planning, performance, and business strategy - and you'll be expected to challenge, collaborate, and lead just like your onshore peers.

Key Responsibilities

- Partner with business leaders to develop financial strategies aligned with company goals

- Deliver insightful analysis and reporting to support high-quality decision-making

- Collaborate across departments to meet financial objectives and drive improvements

- Conduct regular reviews and forecasts to highlight trends, risks, and opportunities

- Lead budgeting and forecasting processes with precision and strategic alignment

- Build strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure seamless communication

- Identify and implement process enhancements for greater financial efficiency

- Support new initiatives with robust business cases and financial models

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies

Skills & Experience

We're looking for someone who brings both technical expertise and a collaborative mindset. You'll be expected to operate with autonomy, initiative, and influence - just like any other member of the team.

Essential Skills:

- Strong working knowledge of the insurance brokerage business

- Advanced Excel skills

- Solid grasp of accounting, financial, and operational principles

- Experience developing financial reports and performance metrics

- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

- Proven ability to drive cross-functional projects and build consensus

- Strategic thinking with hands-on execution capability

- High attention to detail and strong time management

Preferred Experience:

- Prior exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial systems

- Experience documenting processes and policies

- Ability to structure information clearly (e.g. business cases)

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
