Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture strong B2B client relationships within the assigned Food or Pharma segment.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through lead generation, networking, and market research.
- Drive sales growth and revenue targets, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential clients, and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with internal teams including operations, logistics, R&D, and marketing to ensure smooth project execution and client satisfaction.
- Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and customized sales solutions based on client requirements.
- Manage the end-to-end sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to deal closure and post-sales support.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, opportunities, and sales pipelines in CRM tools.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and client engagement.
- Provide regular reports and market insights to management to support strategic planning.
- Travel extensively across assigned regions to meet clients, conduct site visits, and expand business reach.
Candidate Requirements:
- Minimum 5-7 years of B2B sales experience within the Food Processing, Ingredients, or Pharmaceutical sectors.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing key client relationships.
- Strong understanding of industry dynamics, supply chains, and customer needs in the Food or Pharma domain.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to understand technical and commercial aspects of client requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Zoho, HubSpot).
- Must be open to extensive travel across regions as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA or Postgraduate degree in Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Experience in technical or consultative sales within manufacturing, ingredients, or contract services.
- Exposure to international markets or export sales will be an added advantage.
