- Independently handling complete Corporate Direct Taxation function, Transfer Pricing (TP), and International Taxation - Workings for Advance Tax Estimation, and payment of corporate income tax to government - Tax Audit - Company Income tax computation - Filing of Corporate Income Tax Return (ITR) in a timely manner - Appearing before income tax authorities; and attending assessment hearings, compiling details required for income tax assessments - Replying to show cause notices by income tax authorities, compiling and filing of necessary income details to tax authorities. - Preparing points of appeal, and drafting and filing of income tax appeal in consultation with tax consultant - Attending income tax appeals before the income tax appellate authorities along-with tax consultants; and completing the appeal proceedings. - Coordinating with tax authorities for submission of data, completion of assessments/appeals and the assessment orders/appeal orders/income tax refunds. - Filing applications for lower rate of tax deductions at source (TDS) - Ensure proper deduction of tax at source (TDS), timely deposit of TDS, and issuance of TDS certificates. - Employees tax administration. - Compiling data and filing of TDS return on time - Transfer pricing (TP): Research, compilation of transfer pricing data/reports, complete transfer audit by auditor, and file transfer pricing report/return in time; attend hearings before TP assessing officer, and complete TP assessment. - International Taxation: Research provisions of double tax avoidance treaties/agreements (DTAT/DTAA) of India with foreign countries where the company wholly international subsidiaries/affiliates are situated; ensure compliance regarding Form 15 CA/15CB/auditor's certification; and ensure appropriate deduction of withholding tax at appropriate rates for various international remittances/receipts towards royalties, dividend, interest, consulting fees, services fees etc.; and ensure that all withholding taxes Desired Qualifications: CA with 1+ years of post qualification experience in Direct Taxation/International Taxation.
