Role purpose : The main priorities of the post are - Handle the entire Purchase to Pay Process for Freelancers - Practical experience in Accounting and Auditing - Basic knowledge of withholding tax and GST - Handle Month End Process - Audit coordination for both external and internal audit. - Strong organizational skills and be part of a global business team - Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks within Matrix environment - Customer driven & team oriented Main accountabilities : - Develop and maintain an effective control environment - Assisting in establishing governance over the freelancer management - Define internal controls over various activities undertaken within the accounting and finance functions. - Accounting and Reporting. - Registering the Freelancers as Vendors in SAP and ensuring complete documentation for taking vendor- on board - Ensure monthly Purchase Order Creation as per the timesheet and share the same with the freelancers - Responsible for sharing the invoice template and monthly invoice processing and correct posting in the books of accounts. - Validation of Invoices and coordination with the business team for any discrepancy - Ensure the payment processing within the agreed timelines - Responsible to handle the queries with respect to Purchase Order, Invoice and Payment Processing - Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company policies while functioning with accuracy and timeliness. - Ensure that the accounts payable and the company's financial obligations are met efficiently. - Keep track of the company's financial expenditures, maintain a database, and provide reports as and when requested by supervisors. - Responsible for managing internal and statutory audits pertaining to Freelancer transactions - Provide support in month end book closing for the entity - Responsible for up-to-date maintenance of P&L and Balance Sheet schedules & reconciliations with respect to freelancer business transactions
