Assistant Manager - Commercial

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting:

- Manage the profit and loss statements and cash and balance sheet to ensure the financial integrity.

- Prepares and presents finance reports & metrics, communicating critical financial matters to leadership.

- Coordinates the annual Statutory, Tax Audit, Cost Audit, AGR Audit and ASR by TRAI.

- Having experience to manage reporting systems, ensuring regulatory compliance and tax requirement.

Finance Operations:

- Manage AP & Fixed Asset functions with a team of 3 people and ensure smooth operations.

- Conduct monthly review of Opex/Capex provisioning/actualisation and build controls to strengthen the processes.

- Develop and implement policy and procedures needed for operational efficiency.

- Supervise the daily operational tasks related to AP & FA and ensure deliverables as per standard set by the company.

Audit and Compliance:

- Work closely with internal and external auditors and work constructively towards addressing issues and gaps identified by auditors and pass the audits.

- Understanding of tax compliances - Direct Taxes as well as Indirect Taxes, including Transfer Pricing.

- Work closely on tax, secretarial, legal, and other regulatory and compliances.

- Set the tone of a highly compliant organization and follow the rules and regulations.

Monthly Performance report:

- Responsible for Monthly Performance report to be shared with Stake holders considering timelines and accuracy.

- Maintain a tight control environment and set up Standard Operating Procedures to follow.

- Review the actual results and make variance analysis to identify and correct accounting issues and variances.

- Provide financial support and advice to management in closing business deals.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Minimum Qualification - Chartered Accountant with 5 to 7 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting and budgeting. Experience in service industry environment is preferable.

- Good understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), IndAS, Financial Reporting, Audit, and Compliances.
