Job Title: Manager/Asst Manager - Commercial

Job Description:

Reports to (Position) : Country Manager and Regional Commercial Manager

Functional Report : Regional Director - Middle East & India

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The role will support Brunel's growth in India and the Middle East. The purpose of this role is to provide sound commercial advice and ensure smooth handling of Brunel's commercial processes. The position focuses on managing tenders and proposals, reviewing commercial agreements, terms and preparing costings. This role will also contribute to achieving Brunel's business goals by ensuring compliance, accuracy and efficiency in all commercial dealings.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Manage end-to-end coordination of client tenders and proposals, including reviewing agreements and preparing commercial and technical documents

- Work closely with the Regional Commercial Manager to ensure accurate review and submission of tender documents

- Prepare cost models and pricing strategies for tenders using advanced Excel skills

- Act as the key contact for clients regarding tender and proposal communication, ensuring timely and professional responses

- Support negotiation of commercial terms and agreements to safeguard Brunel's interests and maintain client satisfaction

- Liaise with internal teams including recruitment, finance, and operations to gather inputs required for proposals

- Maintain accurate records of tenders, proposals, contract agreements, and commercial correspondence

- Monitor compliance with Brunel's commercial policies and procedures

- Identify risks in tender documents and highlight them to senior management for decision making

- Provide regular updates to management on tender status, commercial opportunities, and challenges

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to support long-term business growth

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Professional qualification such as CA or CMA or ACCA or ICWA

- Proven experience in handling tenders and proposals in a service based company

- Strong commercial acumen with ability to review and interpret contractual and commercial terms

- Excellent Excel and analytical skills for cost modeling and pricing

- Strong negotiation and communication skills with a client facing approach

- Ability to manage multiple tenders and deadlines under pressure

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

- Collaborative mindset with ability to work across teams and regions

- Professional English language skills, both written and spoken
