Role Overview:
As an Assistant Manager in Capital Markets & IPO Projects, you will play a pivotal role in advising clients on their capital market strategies, guiding them through the IPO process, and assisting with venture capital transactions. Your day-to-day activities will involve conducting market research, preparing financial models, performing due diligence, and drafting offering documents. You will collaborate closely with engagement teams, clients, and regulatory bodies to ensure seamless execution of projects. This role directly impacts our clients' ability to access capital markets effectively, achieve their strategic objectives, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and risks relevant to capital market transactions for clients.
- Develop robust financial models and valuation analyses to support IPOs, venture capital investments, and other capital market activities, ensuring accurate and insightful financial projections.
- Perform thorough due diligence on target companies, assessing their financial performance, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance to mitigate risks for our clients.
- Draft and review offering documents, including prospectuses and private placement memorandums, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and effective communication of investment opportunities.
- Manage project timelines, coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensure timely and accurate delivery of project milestones, optimizing client satisfaction.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports for clients, communicating complex financial information in a clear and concise manner, enabling informed decision-making.
- Support senior team members in business development activities, including preparing proposals and participating in client meetings, contributing to the growth of the firm's capital markets practice.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated ability to perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence procedures related to capital market transactions.
- Proven ability to interpret financial statements, assess business risks, and provide insightful recommendations to clients.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record.
- Adaptable to a hybrid work environment, combining remote work with on-site client meetings and team collaborations as required.
