Key Responsibilities:
- Execute end-to-end statutory audits for large-scale clients, ensuring all financial reporting complies with statutory requirements and internal quality standards.
- Manage engagement timelines and resource allocation to ensure the timely delivery of audit reports to stakeholders.
- Analyze complex financial data and accounting treatments to identify potential risks and provide actionable recommendations to client management.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical accounting issues, ensuring consistency and accuracy across all audit documentation.
- Mentor junior team members by providing technical guidance and constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous professional development.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrate deep technical proficiency in GAAP and statutory audit procedures, with a proven ability to interpret complex accounting standards.
- Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying discrepancies and proposing effective solutions in high-pressure environments.
- Communicate complex financial findings clearly and persuasively to both internal stakeholders and client management.
- Hold a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification, reflecting a strong foundation in professional accounting principles and ethics.
- Thrive in a hybrid work environment, balancing independent technical work with collaborative team-based audit engagements.
- Possess 1 - 5 years of relevant experience in a Big 4 or top-tier accounting firm, demonstrating a track record of handling high-stakes audit portfolios.
