Assistant Manager/Associate Manager/Manager/Assistant Director - Financial Due Diligence

Role Overview:

We are seeking high-caliber professionals for the role of Assistant Manager / Associate Manager / Manager / Assistant Director - Financial Due Diligence to join our growing transaction advisory practice. In this capacity, you will lead and execute complex buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity firms and strategic corporate clients. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional deal teams to analyze quality of earnings, net debt positions, and working capital requirements. Your insights will directly influence high-stakes investment decisions, helping clients mitigate risks and maximize value in M&A transactions. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to diverse industries while operating in a fast-paced, high-impact environment across our Bangalore, Kolkata, Hyderabad, or Pune offices.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the execution of financial due diligence engagements by analyzing historical financial performance to provide clients with a clear view of sustainable earnings.

- Manage the preparation of detailed due diligence reports that highlight key deal risks and opportunities, enabling stakeholders to make informed investment decisions.

- Collaborate with internal deal teams and external client stakeholders to streamline information flow and ensure timely delivery of high-quality transaction insights.

- Mentor junior team members by reviewing their analytical work and providing constructive feedback to foster professional growth and technical excellence.

- Identify and articulate critical financial issues, such as non-recurring items or pro-forma adjustments, to support clients during complex purchase price negotiations.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrate deep expertise in financial due diligence, including the ability to interpret complex financial statements and identify underlying business drivers.

- Exhibit strong proficiency in M&A transaction mechanics, with a proven track record of managing end-to-end due diligence processes.

- Communicate complex financial findings with clarity and precision, ensuring that senior stakeholders and investment committees can easily grasp the implications of your analysis.

- Possess a professional qualification such as CA, CFA, or an MBA from a premier institute, which provides the foundational knowledge necessary for high-level financial analysis.

- Adapt seamlessly to a hybrid work environment, maintaining high levels of productivity and collaboration while engaging with distributed teams across multiple locations.
