Assistant Manager - ARCS - FMCG/Retail/Manufacturing Firm

Role Overview:

As an Assistant Manager - ARCS, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data through meticulous reconciliation processes. Your day-to-day will involve performing complex reconciliations, analyzing discrepancies, and collaborating with various teams, including accounting, finance, and IT, to resolve issues and improve processes.

You will work closely with stakeholders across the organization to maintain data accuracy and compliance. Your work directly impacts the reliability of our financial reporting, contributing to informed decision-making and overall business success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform complex account reconciliations using Oracle ARCS to identify and resolve discrepancies between various systems and data sources, ensuring accurate financial reporting.

- Analyze reconciliation results, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain data integrity and prevent future errors, supporting the accuracy of financial statements.

- Collaborate with accounting, finance, and IT teams to streamline reconciliation processes, improve data quality, and enhance overall efficiency, contributing to reduced operational costs.

- Develop and maintain reconciliation procedures, documentation, and controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, mitigating financial risks.

- Prepare and present reconciliation reports to management, highlighting key findings, trends, and recommendations for improvement, supporting informed decision-making.

- Participate in the implementation and enhancement of Oracle EPM solutions, focusing on reconciliation functionalities, to optimize the reconciliation process and improve data accuracy.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in account reconciliation processes, including identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies.

- Proficient in using Oracle ARCS and other EPM tools for reconciliation and financial reporting.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and present findings to management.

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
