Assistant General Manager/Senior Manager - Finance

Location: Khadki, Pune

Position : Sr. Manager/AGM - Accounts.

Accounting Operations:

- Oversee end-to-end accounting processes including ledger management, receivable analysis and Management, Inventory Management and bank reconciliation.

- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing activities are completed accurately and on time.

- Supervision and implementation and assurance of adherence to accounting system and procedures

- Regularly updating the master data in SAP system like General Ledger, Customer, Material Master, Asset Master, Tax Master

- Monitor and manage project-wise accounting, especially capital-intensive solar power projects. Financial Reporting & Analysis:

- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow). Finalise the Tax Audit.

- Analyze financial performance vs. budget and provide actionable insights.

- Prepare MIS reports for internal and management review.

Taxation & Statutory Compliance:

- Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and statutory auditors, cost auditors during audits.

- Good in Direct & Indirect Taxation including E way bill, Reconciliation of Balances with GST and Books of accounts

- Prepare Stock statement for bank, ensure support to CS department to comply with MCA compliances. Project Costing & Asset Management:

- Maintain the Fixed Asset register and updated the addition, deletion, calculating & posting the Depreciation

- Monitor project cost tracking (CAPEX and OPEX) for solar power projects.

- Manage capitalization of assets, depreciation, and asset reconciliation.

- Ensure project-specific fund flow and cost accounting are maintained properly. Budgeting & Forecasting:

- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting processes.

- Work closely with project teams and operations to align financial planning with project execution. Internal Controls ; Process Improvement:

- Implement and monitor internal financial controls and standard operating

procedures (SOPs).

- Drive continuous process improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance Liaison & Coordination:

- Coordinate with banks, financial institutions, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders.

- Support project financing activities by preparing necessary financial documents.

Qualifications & Experience:

- ICWA/Chartered Accountant (CA Inter/ Final) / MBA (Finance) with 8+ years of relevant experience. OR

- Minimum 5 years in a managerial role handling accounts in a manufacturing or project-driven industry (solar / renewable energy preferred).

- Sound knowledge of accounting standards (IND-AS), GST, TDS, Taxation, and corporate compliance.

- Hands-on experience with ERP accounting systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, etc.).
