Profile Overview
We are looking for an experienced AGM Sales professional with strong exposure to Railways and Rolling Stock customers. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of selling harness wires, cables, or related electrical products to railway OEMs, system integrators, or rolling stock manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead sales and business development activities for Railway & Rolling Stock segment
- Drive sales of harness wires, cables, and related products to OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, and PSU clients
- Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders including Indian Railways, Metro projects, coaches, locomotive manufacturers, and rolling stock OEMs
- Identify new business opportunities, upcoming tenders, and long-term contracts
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, pricing, and contracts
- Coordinate with internal teams production, quality, SCM, and finance for smooth order execution
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements
- Achieve annual sales targets and contribute to strategic growth plans
- Support product approvals, vendor registrations, and audits with railway/rolling stock customers
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10 - 20 years of experience in sales within Railway / Rolling Stock industry
- Mandatory experience in selling harness wires, cables, or electrical wiring solutions
- Strong exposure to Railway OEMs, Metro Rail, Coach Factories, Locomotive manufacturers, or rolling stock projects
- Good understanding of railway standards, specifications, and approval processes
- Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills
- Result-oriented with strong business acumen
- Willingness to travel as per business requirements
