Assistant General Manager - Sales -Real Estate (10-18 yrs)

The Assistant General Manager Sales is responsible for leading and governing the complete business generation and customer lifecycle functions including Direct Sales, Channel Sales, Presales, Post sales, Marketing, Branding, and Digital Marketing.

Reporting directly to the CXO, the role drives strategic revenue growth, operational excellence, customer experience, process governance, and organizational effectiveness across all verticals.

It contributes to overall business success by ensuring alignment between lead generation, sales conversion, collections, branding, and customer servicing while building a high-performing and process-driven organization.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and drive overall business revenue, conversion, and growth objectives across all sales channels and customer touchpoints.

- Develop and execute integrated business strategies covering Direct Sales, Channel Sales, Presales, Marketing, and Digital Marketing.

- Monitor business performance, market trends, competitor activity, and customer behaviour to drive strategic decision-making.

- Drive improvement in site visit-to-booking conversion, booking-to-agreement conversion, and overall sales efficiency.

- Ensure alignment between lead generation, lead qualification, sales conversion, and customer onboarding processes.

- Oversee lead generation, response efficiency, and lead-to-site visit conversion performance.

- Ensure strong CRM governance, lead tracking accuracy, and process adherence across presales operations.

- Strengthen the channel partner ecosystem through structured engagement and governance frameworks.

- Oversee post sales operations including collections, ATS efficiency, documentation governance, and escalation resolution.

- Drive collection efficiency and process discipline across post sales operations.

- Lead marketing, branding, and digital marketing initiatives aligned with business objectives and revenue goals.

- Monitor digital campaign effectiveness, lead quality, customer acquisition cost, and branding impact.

- Ensure strict adherence to organizational SOPs, governance frameworks, and operational standards across all departments.

- Standardize processes across verticals to ensure consistency, scalability, and compliance.

- Oversee resolution of critical customer escalations and high-impact operational issues.

- Lead and manage departmental heads across sales and customer lifecycle functions.

- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.

- Monitor team engagement, IDP completion, attrition, and succession readiness across functions.

- Monitor sales costs, marketing spends, operational budgets, and overall business efficiency metrics.

- Drive cost optimization without compromising customer experience or business quality.

- Present business performance reviews, operational insights, risks, and strategic recommendations to CXO leadership.

- Monitor and analyse business KPIs across revenue, conversions, collections, engagement, customer experience, branding, and operational compliance.

- Use analytics and business intelligence to drive strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.

Educational Qualification:

- Graduation in any discipline & MBA (preferred).

Experience & Skills:

- 10-12 years of experience in Sales department.

- Proven experience in leading large-scale, multi-location sales operations.

- Strong strategic and commercial acumen with demonstrated revenue ownership experience.

- Deep understanding of sales governance, conversion management, collections, and documentation processes.

- Strong financial management capability including budgeting and cost control.

- Proven leadership experience managing large and multi-layered sales teams.

- Strong stakeholder management and CXO-facing communication skills.

- Excellent analytical, decision-making, and operational governance capabilities.

- High ethical orientation with strong focus on transparency and customer trust.

- Proficiency in CRM systems, sales analytics, and business reporting tools.
