- The Assistant General Manager - Sales, Marketing & Expansion will be responsible for driving student enrollments, brand positioning, and business growth for the company's K-12 schools.
- This leadership role involves overseeing admissions, marketing strategies, and geographic expansion to enhance market presence, attract students, and build partnerships with key stakeholders in the education sector.
- The role requires a blend of strategic vision, strong execution skills, and expertise in education sales and marketing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Admissions Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase student enrollments across K-12 schools.
- Build and manage a high-performing admissions and business development team.
- Identify and target new customer segments (parents, students, corporate tie-ups, expats, etc.).
- Optimize admissions conversion rates through structured follow-ups, CRM tools, and data-driven decision-making.
- Establish relationships with school counselors, educational consultants, and feeder schools.
2. Marketing & Brand Positioning
- Develop a 360-degree marketing strategy (digital, offline, PR, influencer partnerships) to enhance brand visibility.
- Oversee social media campaigns, SEO, content marketing, and lead generation to drive inquiries.
- Plan and execute open house events, webinars, and school fairs to attract prospective students and parents.
- Strengthen the brand's identity by highlighting USPs such as curriculum, faculty, infrastructure, and student success stories.
- Manage relationships with advertising agencies, media partners, and content creators to maximize outreach.
3. Expansion & Market Development
- Identify and evaluate new locations for setting up K-12 schools based on demand, demographics, and market potential.
- Conduct feasibility studies and competitor analysis to assess school expansion opportunities.
- Develop partnerships with corporates, embassies, and government bodies to support new school
openings.
- Work closely with the real estate and operations teams to ensure smooth expansion into new regions.
4. Strategic Planning & Stakeholder Engagement
- Align sales, marketing, and expansion strategies with the organization's long-term growth vision.
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with education boards (CBSE, ICSE, IB, IGCSE, etc.), NGOs, and CSR initiatives.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and expansion progress to senior leadership.
- Develop pricing and scholarship strategies to balance accessibility with profitability.
Key Requirements:
Education & Experience:
- MBA in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or Education Management from a reputed institution.
- Experience between 1-4 yrs
