Role Overview:
Responsible for directing commercial growth, pricing structures, and distribution channels for industrial commodity chemicals. Lead domestic and international business development, revenue optimization, and key account management.
Strategic Planning:
- Design and execute 3-year strategic roadmaps and Annual Business Plans (ABPs) aligned with organizational targets.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Identify new market opportunities and monitor industry trends.
- Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation to order execution and payment follow-up. Prepare sales forecasts, market intelligence reports, and competitor analysis.
Market Expansion:
- Scale customer acquisition across domestic and export markets, targeting manufacturers, traders, and industrial end-users.
- Generate new business opportunities and expand the customer base across domestic and international markets.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through effective after-sales support.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers, distributors, importers, traders, and industrial customers.
- Represent the company at industry exhibitions, conferences, and networking events.
Commercial Negotiation:
- Oversee complex contract terms, pricing strategies, and volume allocations in response to global commodity fluctuations.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and commercial terms with customers.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and commercial negotiations.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Align sales forecasts with procurement, supply chain, and finance departments to streamline order execution.
Team Mentorship:
- Build, coach, and manage high-performing regional and national sales teams.
Qualification and Experience:
- BE Chemical and Master's/MBA in Marketing or International Business preferred with 15-20+ years of progressive B2B sales and marketing experience within the chemical, polymer, or industrial raw material sectors.
- Deep familiarity with commodity chemical applications (e.g., polymers, solvents, inorganic/organic basic chemicals) and global market dynamics.
- Advanced stakeholder management, data-driven analytical capability, and proficiency in enterprise CRM systems.
