Job Title: AGM - Projects (Head-Office based role)

Role: Project Management / Project Construction

Location: Delhi NCR

About the employer: One of the leading MNCs in the energy sector

Role Synopsis:

We are seeking a Project Construction professional from Wind sector with 15+ years of experience, preferably with at least 5 years of experience in the same domain. The incumbent will be based in Delhi, reporting to the Head of Projects, and will be responsible for overseeing, managing and delivering projects within the stipulated timelines and budget.

The role requires someone good with people, time and project management, and aptly addresses stakeholder management, vendor & contractor management, all with a focus on the Organisation's Quality and Safety standards while managing, constructing, and delivering the projects. The incumbent will also be responsible for all site construction activities, managing site administration requirements, and assuming economic responsibility for material, personnel, and contract costs. Candidates with significant experience in wind construction will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

- Crafting a comprehensive Project Monitoring plan in consultation with Management and all relevant stakeholder departments.

- Identifying key risks related to project milestones based on project progress inputs and historical data. Calculating the potential cost impact due to associated risks and developing action plans to mitigate them.

- Continuously tracking and monitoring project activities to identify and address issues early on, make mid-course corrections, and escalate issues promptly. Identifying critical delay areas, working on mitigation strategies, and planning the way forward in collaboration with the relevant department stakeholders.

- Leading productive project update meetings and reviews across various levels, offering an integrated view of project plans and insights.

- Efficiently monitoring cranes, tools, and transport equipment, installations, and all other site activities related to Civil, BOP, and WTG erection to optimise time and costs, enhancing overall productivity.

- Ensuring that log sheets are consistently and clearly filled out, facilitating the timely release of vendor invoicing and invoice booking from Accounts.

- Harnessing internal and external data and benchmarks to identify opportunities for optimising costs and enhancing HSE parameters.

- Liaison with various nodal agencies, budgeting and estimation, ensuring on-time delivery of the projects with quality and stringent deadlines.

- Extend support for laying site roads and facilitating crane movements and material movements, coordination with state officials, vendors, contractors & subcontractors.

- Being contract savvy with respect to ensuring no claims on the company and also keeping the company's position strong to stake claims on its contractors/subcontractors.

Role requirements:

- Overall experience of 15 to 20 years with relevant experience in the project execution of the Wind sector (mandatory).

- Someone working with an IPP (Independent Power Producer), or an OEM (the manufacturers), or the EPC in the sector would be suitable for the role.

- Must be comfortable with travelling to various sites.

- Mandatory Qualifications: B. Tech / B.E. in Electrical or Mechanical

- Technical Skills: Along with MS Office Suite, Primavera or MS Project or exposure to other PM tools is mandatory.

- Other Skills: End-to-End Project Management, Hands-on experience, Team Management, Vendor Management, Time Management, Stakeholder Management, Negotiation Skills.
