Assistant General Manager - Procurement - Manufacturing

Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Commercial professional to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, cost optimization, and commercial operations in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead procurement of direct and indirect materials, packaging, engineering spares, and capital equipment.

- Drive strategic sourcing, vendor negotiations, cost savings, and working capital optimization.

- Manage import sourcing, customs duties, FTAs, and landed cost optimization.

- Ensure material availability for manufacturing operations and support new product launches.

- Oversee supplier development, contract management, commercial governance, and statutory compliance.

- Drive sustainable procurement, process improvements, and procurement digitization.

Candidate Profile:

- Graduate in Engineering, Commerce, Supply Chain, Materials Management, or a related discipline; MBA/PGDM preferred.

- 10 - 15 years of relevant experience in Commercial, Procurement, Supply Chain, or Materials Management.

- Experience in FMCG, Consumer Goods, Pharma, Packaging, Process, or Industrial Manufacturing.

- Strong expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiations, cost optimization, supplier management, and commercial compliance.
