Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced professional to lead Planning, MIS and Cost Control for our Solid Waste Management business. The role is responsible for route planning, fleet utilization, manpower deployment analytics, operational reporting, and performance dashboards, supporting senior operations leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage daily/weekly/monthly MIS covering fleet usage, fuel consumption, route completion, manpower deployment, and cost performance.
- Prepare route plans, shift rosters, deployment plans and onboard/offboard requirements for C&T operations.
- Conduct route rationalization, GPS analysis, fuel efficiency review and cost-per-MT analysis.
- Monitor and control fleet operating expenditure, including fuel, maintenance, and contractor costs.
- Build Power BI / Excel dashboards for operational performance review and decision-making.
- Work closely with Project Managers, Fleet Managers, HR and Finance teams to validate and publish operational performance data.
- Support new project planning, mobilization and business reviews.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 8-14 years in Planning / MIS / Analytics / Cost Control within:
- Solid Waste Management
- Transport & Fleet Operations
- City Sanitation / Urban Services
- Logistics / Infrastructure Services
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and GPS / FMS / ERP data analysis.
- Strong understanding of fleet routing, deployment planning, and cost models.
- B.Tech in Mechanical / Civil / Industrial / Production or MBA (Operations/Supply Chain) preferred.
- Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills; field execution orientation is a must.
