We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented AGM - Operations & Sales to oversee day-to-day operations and drive sales growth in our hostel business. The role requires a balance of operational excellence, customer experience management, and revenue generation. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hospitality/hostel/co-living/real estate leasing and a proven track record of scaling occupancy and ensuring service quality

Operations Management:

- Oversee daily hostel operations across all properties to ensure seamless functioning.

- Implement and monitor SOPs for housekeeping, front desk, F&B, safety, and maintenance.

- Ensure compliance with statutory, health, and safety standards.

- Manage vendor contracts, AMC, utilities, and local authority relationships.

- Optimize operating costs while maintaining high service quality.

Sales & Business Development:

- Drive occupancy levels by building partnerships with corporates, universities, and travel platforms.

- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet revenue and occupancy targets.

- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies.

- Handle digital & offline marketing initiatives to promote the brand and acquire new customers.

- Negotiate and finalize B2B and B2C sales contracts.

Customer Experience:

- Ensure high guest satisfaction through personalized services and prompt grievance redressal.

- Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously improve services.

- Create a vibrant hostel culture with community events and engagement activities.

Team Leadership:

- Lead, train, and motivate operations and sales teams.

- Monitor staff performance, set KPIs, and ensure adherence to company values.

- Drive a culture of accountability, service excellence, and innovation.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Strong understanding of hostel/co-living/hospitality operations.

- Proven ability to drive sales, occupancy, and revenue.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

- Strong leadership and team management experience.

- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to handle crises effectively.

- Proficiency in MS Office, PMS/CRM systems, and digital sales tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management / Business Administration (MBA preferred).

- 8-12 years of experience in hospitality, hostel, co-living, or hotel operations & sales.

- Minimum 3-4 years in a managerial or AGM-level role handling multi-site operations.

- Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
