Role Overview: We are seeking a seasoned HR professional to join our leadership team as an Assistant General Manager - Human Resources (Generalist) based in Delhi NCR. In this pivotal role, you will act as a strategic partner to the business, overseeing the entire spectrum of HR operations within our FMCG/Manufacturing setup. You will work closely with plant heads, senior leadership, and cross-functional department heads to drive organizational effectiveness and foster a high-performance culture. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve navigating complex industrial relations, steering large-scale change management initiatives, and leading digital transformation projects to modernize our HR infrastructure. By aligning human capital strategies with our core business objectives, you will directly influence operational excellence, employee engagement, and the long-term scalability of our manufacturing footprint. Key Responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end HR operations and generalist functions to ensure seamless service delivery across manufacturing units and corporate offices. - Manage complex industrial relations and union negotiations to maintain a harmonious work environment and ensure statutory compliance. - Drive organizational change management initiatives to support business restructuring, process improvements, and cultural integration during growth phases. - Spearhead digital transformation projects by implementing and optimizing HRIS and automated workflows to enhance data-driven decision-making. - Oversee comprehensive talent management strategies, including succession planning, leadership development, and performance management, to build a robust internal talent pipeline. - Partner with senior stakeholders to design and execute people strategies that improve productivity, reduce attrition, and strengthen employer branding in the FMCG sector. Required Skillset: - Demonstrated expertise in managing complex industrial relations and labor law compliance within a large-scale manufacturing or FMCG environment. - Proven ability to lead digital transformation projects, including the successful implementation of HR technology platforms to streamline operations. - Strong strategic mindset with a track record of executing change management programs that align workforce behavior with evolving business goals. - Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leadership and navigate diverse organizational dynamics. - Proficiency in data analytics and HR metrics to provide actionable insights that drive business performance and talent retention. - A Master's degree in Human Resources or an MBA from a premier B-school is highly preferred. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, on-site manufacturing environment, demonstrating high levels of adaptability and operational resilience.
