Role Overview:

As the AGM - Finance and Accounts, you will be a pivotal leader responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic financial planning. You will collaborate closely with various departments, including operations, sales, and marketing, to provide financial insights and support informed decision-making. Your expertise will directly impact the company's financial health, growth trajectory, and overall success by optimizing financial performance and mitigating risks.

Key Responsibilities:

- Spearhead the preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

- Develop and manage the annual budget and forecasting processes, providing insightful analysis and recommendations to optimize resource allocation and achieve financial targets.

- Oversee all taxation matters, including direct and indirect taxes, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations and minimizing tax liabilities.

- Manage transfer pricing policies and documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and optimizing tax efficiency across the organization.

- Design, implement, and maintain robust MIS reports, providing timely and accurate financial data to support strategic decision-making by senior management.

- Lead and mentor the finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial information.

- Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial institutions, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

- Identify and mitigate financial risks, developing and implementing strategies to protect the company's financial interests.

- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives within the finance and accounts function, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in financial reporting, taxation, transfer pricing, MIS, and budgeting, enabling effective management of all financial operations.

- Proven ability to analyze complex financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Strong understanding of accounting principles, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance and minimizing financial risks.

- Certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a strong academic record, including a rank holder status.

- Adaptability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, demonstrating a proactive and results-oriented approach.

- Minimum of 12-15 years of relevant experience in finance and accounts, showcasing a progressive career trajectory.
