Description:
Role: Finance AGM (Technical), CFO Office.
Company: Listed Manufacturing Company.
Location: New Delhi.
Role overview:
The role will support the CFO in managing critical financial processes, coordinating cross-functional communication, preparing high-quality financial documents, and ensuring smooth execution of all CFO office priorities.
It requires strong analytical ability, exceptional attention to detail, and the maturity to work with senior leadership.
Responsibilities:
Approval Notes & Financial Approvals.
- Prepare and present approval notes with clear financial justification.
- Review NFAs for DOFP compliance, verify UOM/pricing, validate supporting documents, and flag discrepancies to the CFO.
- Coordinate with business teams to resolve queries and ensure timely closure of approval workflows.
Financial Presentations, Reports & Models.
- Develop and review financial presentations and models, including Board decks, Credit Rating PPTs, and Annual Report financial sections.
- Consolidate inputs from Accounts, FP&A, Treasury, Tax, and Business Finance teams to produce accurate and CFO-ready documents.
- Interpret CFOs comments, seek necessary clarifications, and update drafts with high precision and professional formatting.
Review Meeting Support & Documentation.
- Attend key business, finance, and cross-functional review meetings alongside the CFO.
- Prepare structured and detailed Minutes of Meeting (MoMs), capturing decisions, follow-up items, deadlines, and ownership.
- Track progress on action items and highlight delays or critical risks to the CFO.
Monitoring & Reporting for Finance & Accounts Department.
- Maintain and update key trackers across the Finance & Accounts function (monthly close, audits, compliances, AR/AP, treasury, etc.
- Prepare periodic summary reports highlighting status, bottlenecks, and action points for CFO review.
- Support the CFO in driving departmental discipline and timely completion of financial processes.
Qualifications/ Skills:
Qualification: CA preferred or MBA Finance from a reputed institute.
Experience: 8+ years in FP&A, finance strategy, or CFO-office roles.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling.
- Strong verbal & written communication; ability to prepare board-quality documents.
- High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work with senior stakeholders.
- Strong follow-through, ownership, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
