Company: One of the Fortune 500 Automotive Parts manufacturer (Swedish) MNC

Position: Assistant General Manager - Direct Purchase

Location: Bangalore (PAN India Role)

Salary: As per company norms

Experience: Around 20+ years of experience in Direct Purchase (Only from Tier1 Supplier/ Automotive Parts Manufacturing Industry)

Qualification: BE/B.Tech (Full Time) is Must

Job Summary:

- Execution of Global Strategies and Ensuring process compliances

- Develop Supplier Base in India according to the Segment strategy

- Govern, Support Lead Buyers negotiations

- Ensure on time completion of all new project launches

- Handle Change Management and VAVE

- Capacity planning at suppliers

- Ensure Contribution Margin target for all new projects are met

- Handling Purchasing team and trouble shooting of supply issues, Quality Issues

- Negotiate Annual Savings

- Cost estimation of tools and parts

- Support and Collaborate with cross functions and Global Teams

Core Responsibilities:

- Monitor all projects and timely completion

- Work on cost estimation of part /tooling for new drawings related to Project

- Interacting with Cross Functional team

- Ensure ASPP (Autoliv Sourcing and Purchasing Process) requirements are met

- Ensure ICAN (cost data base) prices are accurate

- Review projects on a periodic basis to meet timeline

- Attend project meetings conducted by PTL

- Ensure contribution margin is within targets

- Coordinate with Commodity team on project requirements (New developments)

- Ensure Capacity considering new project launch

- Work on Global projects wherever applicable

- Ensure Documentation of Projects like RFQ, QAR, SAPQP in PLM

- Ensure Timely launch of all new developments

- Conduct Sourcing Board meetings for approval of source for new developments

- Responsible for localization projects

- Should drive VEVA implementation to improve project healthiness

- Guiding/coaching/mentoring his team

- Should drive to become a high-performance team.
