Lead FPNA (AGM/DGM) for two Agro chemical entities

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Financial Planning and Budgeting:

- Prepare annual budgets and financial plans.

- Work with departments to estimate revenue, expenses and resource requirements.

- Allocate budgets according to business priorities.

2. Forecasting and Financial Modelling:

- Forecast future revenue, costs, profitability and cash flow.

- Build financial models to evaluate different business scenarios.

- Update forecasts when market conditions or business priorities change.

3. Performance Analysis and Reporting:

- Compare actual financial results against budgets and forecasts.

- Identify variances and investigate why they occurred.

- Prepare management reports, dashboards and performance presentations.

4. Cost and Profitability Management:

- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve margins.

- Evaluate departmental spending and operational efficiency.

- Analyse profitability by product, business unit, customer or geography.

5. Business Partnering and Strategic Decision-Making:

- Partner with business leaders, HR, sales and operations.

- Evaluate hiring plans, expansion proposals and investments.

- Provide financial insights to support management decisions.

Key Skills:

- Financial skills: Budgeting, forecasting, P&L analysis, cash-flow analysis and financial modelling.

- Technical skills: Advanced Excel, Power BI, financial planning software and ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.

- Analytical skills: Variance analysis, scenario planning, trend analysis and profitability assessment.

- Business skills: Understanding revenue models, operating costs and commercial performance.

- Communication skills: Explaining financial results and recommendations to non-finance stakeholders.

Must-have:

- Candidate is expected to work on automation tool, should have exp in implementation of financial automation tools.

Exp:

- 6 - 12 Years of exp.

Location:

- Chennai - Guindy (Head Office).

Reporting to:

- CFO.

Good match of profile:

- FPNA, IC or team management + Corporate office role (not cost accountant) + Good in automation + good to have (investor relations exp in M&A, Board meetings presentation prep).

Team Management:

- This is a team mgmt role (to start with 1 and grow the team to next level).

Qualification:

- MBA Fin or CA Qualified.

Preferred industry:

- Manufacturing / FMCG / FMCG.
