Position: Assistant General Manager Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Reporting To: Head - Finance
Qualification:
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
- 14-17 years of post-qualification experience
- Mandatory experience in the Residential Real Estate industry
Role Purpose:
Responsible for financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, business performance analysis, financial modelling, and management reporting to provide timely financial insights and facilitate effective business decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and consolidate the annual business plan, budgets, and periodic forecasts.
- Develop and maintain project-wise financial models, including project feasibility and profitability analysis.
- Monitor project budgets, costs, revenue, margins, and profitability, and highlight key variances.
- Prepare monthly MIS, management reports, financial dashboards, and performance analysis.
- Track project cash flows, collections, expenditures, and funding requirements.
- Conduct variance analysis against budgets and forecasts and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide financial analysis and business insights to support strategic and operational decisions.
- Coordinate with Sales, Projects, Procurement, Commercial, and Finance teams for budgeting and performance reviews.
- Monitor key financial and operational KPIs and present actionable insights to management.
- Support investment evaluations, project appraisals, and financial due diligence for new projects.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of management reports and financial information.
- Drive continuous improvement in budgeting, forecasting, MIS, and reporting processes.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations and financial reports for senior management and Board reviews.
Desired Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business analysis.
- Good understanding of residential real estate business, project economics, and cash flow management.
- Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and ERP systems.
- Ability to interpret financial data and provide meaningful business insights.
- Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to work within tight timelines.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
