Role Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager/Assistant General Manager - Data Center Projects & Production to lead and manage both project execution and production/manufacturing operations for HVAC equipment used in Data Center applications.

The ideal candidate should have 20+ years of experience in the HVAC industry with strong exposure to FWU, AHU, CRAH and PAHU, along with proven expertise in project management, production operations, team leadership, quality, cost control and customer coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management & Execution:

- Lead end-to-end execution of HVAC projects for Data Center applications.

- Manage project planning, scheduling, resource allocation and execution to ensure timely delivery.

- Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Production, Quality, Site and other cross-functional teams.

- Monitor project progress, identify risks and take corrective actions to ensure project milestones are achieved.

- Manage customer, consultant, contractor and other stakeholder relationships.

- Ensure compliance with approved technical specifications, quality standards and project requirements.

- Support installation, testing, commissioning and project handover activities.

- Monitor project costs, timelines and resource utilization.

2. Production & Manufacturing:

- Lead production operations for FWU, AHU, CRAH and PAHU equipment.

- Develop and monitor production plans based on project requirements and delivery schedules.

- Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machinery, materials and production capacity.

- Drive productivity, efficiency and continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

- Coordinate with planning, procurement and project teams to ensure material availability.

- Monitor production quality and ensure adherence to defined manufacturing standards.

- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Ensure timely completion and dispatch of equipment as per project schedules.

3. Data Center HVAC Expertise:

- Provide technical and operational leadership for HVAC solutions used in Data Center environments.

- Possess strong understanding of CRAH, AHU, PAHU and FWU systems and their applications.

- Ensure project and manufacturing activities meet the performance and reliability requirements of critical Data Center facilities.

- Coordinate with Engineering and Design teams for technical issues, design changes and project-specific requirements.

4. Team Leadership:

- Lead and mentor large cross-functional teams across Projects and Production.

- Define responsibilities, monitor performance and develop team capabilities.

- Drive a culture of accountability, safety, quality and operational excellence.

- Collaborate with senior management on manpower planning and organizational requirements.

5. Quality, Safety & Compliance:

- Ensure adherence to company quality systems, SOPs and applicable HVAC standards.

- Drive quality improvement and reduction of rework, rejection and customer complaints.

- Ensure compliance with EHS and workplace safety requirements across project and production operations.

- Participate in audits, inspections and customer reviews as required.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related engineering discipline.

- MBA/PG qualification in Operations or Management will be an added advantage.

- Experience 15+ years of overall experience in HVAC / Air-Conditioning industry.

- Significant experience in both Project Execution and Production/Manufacturing.

- Strong exposure to FWU, AHU, CRAH and PAHU.

- Prior experience in Data Center HVAC projects will be highly preferred.

- Experience in a senior leadership role managing large teams and multiple functions.
