Assistant General Manager - Construction Projects

- The AGM - Projects will be responsible for end-to-end management of multiple real estate projects, from pre-construction through handover.

- The ideal candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and with the highest quality standards expected from premium developers.

- Lead all aspects of project execution including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.

- Drive timely completion of all construction activities in coordination with internal teams and external consultants.

- Approve micro-level project schedules and monitor adherence across sites.

- Ensure full compliance with quality, safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.

- Contractor & Vendor Management - Finalize contracts, negotiate rates, and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and consultants.

- Supervise mobilization and ensure proper resource allocation (manpower, materials, equipment).

- Certify bills, ensure timely payments, and control cost overruns.

- Quality & Safety Control - Establish robust quality control systems and ensure compliance with industry standards and benchmarks.

- Implement and monitor site safety protocols and ensure zero accident policy.

- Conduct regular quality audits, snagging, and ensure defect-free delivery.

Stakeholder & Reporting Management:

- Provide project updates to senior leadership including weekly dashboards and MIS reports.

- Manage interactions with architects, structural consultants, PMC, and government authorities.

- Handle customer walkthroughs, handovers, and resolve escalations if any.

Key Skills & Competencies:

- Proven ability to handle multiple residential and mixed-use projects of Rs. 100 Cr+ scale

- Strong project management and leadership capabilities

- Expertise in MEP, structural systems, and finishing quality

- Sound knowledge of construction laws, statutory approvals, and safety norms

- ERP & project management tools proficiency (MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD, etc. )

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills
