Assistant General Manager - Central Inventory Controller

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced professional to lead centralised inventory control and governance across all plants and the entire supply chain, ensuring inventory accuracy, financial integrity, effective reconciliation, and strong internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Drive centralised inventory control, physical verification, audits, and reconciliation across all plants and supply chain locations.

- Oversee inventory accounting, valuation, stock variance analysis, and General Ledger reconciliation in coordination with Finance.

- Monitor inventory ageing, obsolete stock, scrap, write-offs, and working capital optimisation.

- Reconcile physical stock with SAP, financial records, and supplier statements.

- Establish standardised inventory processes, SAP-based controls, and financial reporting across all plants.

- Resolve material discrepancies, supplier disputes, and subcontractor inventory differences.

Candidate Requirements:

- 14+ years of experience in inventory control, audit, or reconciliation within manufacturing.

- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, valuation, financial controls, and working capital management.

- Hands-on experience with SAP MM and Finance integration.

- Manufacturing experience, preferably in auto components or metal manufacturing.

- Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred.
