Assistant General Manager - Capability Development & Enablement

About the Role:

We're looking for a Capability Development & Enablement Lead to own learning, training, and adoption across the organization. This role will ensure that teachers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders are continuously upskilled, and that new products, processes, and tools are adopted quickly and effectively. This is a high-ownership, cross-functional role combining training, enablement, and program management.

Key Responsibilities:

Capability & Skill Development:

Design and run structured capability-building programs for:

- Teachers (subject expertise, pedagogy, delivery quality)

- Sales teams (product knowledge, selling skills, conversions)

- Internal teams (processes, systems, tools)

- Identify skill gaps and create role-based learning paths.

Training & Enablement:

- Plan and deliver regular training programs using internal SMEs and external experts.

- Create practical, outcome-driven learning formats (live sessions, recordings, assessments).

- Own the end-to-end training calendar and execution.

Product, Process & Tool Adoption:

- Partner with product and tech teams to enable teams on new releases.

- Translate product features into simple workflows and usage guides.

- Reduce the gap between product release and real adoption.

Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs):

- Support evaluation and implementation of Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs).

- Create in-app guidance, walkthroughs, and role-based adoption journeys.

- Use DAPs to scale enablement and reduce manual training effort.

Measurement & Impact :

- Track training effectiveness, adoption metrics, and time-to-productivity.

- Gather feedback and continuously improve enablement programs.

- Share insights with leadership on capability gaps and progress.

What We're Looking For :

- 4-8 years of experience in capability development, training, enablement, L&D, or sales/product enablement.

- Experience running cross-functional training and enablement programs.

- Strong understanding of adult learning and applied training design.

- Working knowledge of Digital Adoption Platforms (DAPs) such as WalkMe, Whatfix, Pendo, Appcues, or similar.

- Strong program management and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to drive initiatives independently and end-to-end.
