Role Overview :

The Assistant General Manager Business Planning will serve as a pivotal architect of the organizations growth strategy, bridging the gap between high-level corporate vision and operational execution. In this role, you will lead the end-to-end business planning cycle, working closely with the leadership team to translate complex market data into actionable financial roadmaps.


You will act as a strategic partner to cross-functional department heads, ensuring that resource allocation, budgeting, and performance tracking are aligned with long-term profitability goals. By driving rigorous financial analysis and operational rigor, you will directly influence the companys competitive positioning and ensure sustainable scalability in the dynamic Delhi NCR market.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes to provide the leadership team with a clear financial trajectory and actionable insights for decision-making.

- Develop sophisticated financial models to evaluate new business opportunities, capital investments, and strategic initiatives, ensuring all ventures meet the companys ROI thresholds.

- Orchestrate the monthly MIS reporting framework to track key performance indicators, identifying operational bottlenecks and recommending corrective actions to optimize business efficiency.

- Partner with department heads to conduct deep-dive business analysis, translating operational challenges into financial solutions that drive cost optimization and revenue growth.

- Drive the corporate strategy agenda by synthesizing market intelligence and internal data to support the executive team in long-range planning and risk mitigation.

- Manage the integration of business operations with financial planning, ensuring that departmental goals are synchronized with the broader organizational financial health.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in financial modeling and strategic finance, with a proven ability to build complex, scalable models that support high-stakes executive decision-making.

- Strong proficiency in business analysis and MIS, with the ability to distill vast amounts of data into concise, high-impact presentations for senior stakeholders.

- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence cross-functional teams and articulate complex financial narratives to non-finance stakeholders.

- A strategic mindset combined with operational pragmatism, allowing you to balance long-term corporate goals with the immediate requirements of day-to-day business operations.

- A strong academic foundation, typically represented by an MBA from a premier business school or a professional qualification like CA/CFA, paired with 8 - 14 years of relevant experience.

- High adaptability to a fast-paced, on-site work environment in Delhi NCR, maintaining composure and precision while managing multiple high-priority workstreams simultaneously.
