About the Role

Our client has established an Innovation Fund (AIF) and is in the process of launching additional funds to support future investment opportunities. The AGM - AIF will be responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of the fund, including investor onboarding, regulatory compliance, accounting, taxation, and ongoing fund management activities. This is a leadership role requiring strong expertise in AIF operations, SEBI regulations, and stakeholder management.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day operations of Alternative Investment Funds, including investor onboarding, KYC, audits, and regulatory compliances.

- Manage fund mobilization and closure, with a targeted fund size of approximately INR 600-650 Crores.

- Prepare and present investment proposals to the Investment Committee for approvals.

- Ensure deployment of mobilized funds across various investments in line with approved strategies.

- Ensure full compliance with SEBI regulations related to AIFs, including timely filings and reporting.

- Coordinate and manage documentation and compliance requirements for investee companies and investors.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date investor KYC records and provide periodic updates on fund performance.

- Submit first closure and post-closure documentation to SEBI upon achieving capital commitments.

- Monitor investments and prepare quarterly performance reports for senior management and the Vice President.

- Liaise with external auditors, regulatory authorities, trustees, and other stakeholders.

- Support overall control, governance, and management of AIF investments across portfolio companies.

Financial & Role Dimensions

- Responsible for managing a total fund size of approximately INR 650 Crores.

- Manages a team of two direct reports and reports to the Vice President.

Qualifications & Experience

- CA (mandatory)

- 10-20 years of experience in AIF operations, fund management, and regulatory compliance.

- Strong experience in fund raising from family offices and private investors.

- In-depth knowledge of SEBI AIF regulations, fund structuring, accounting, and taxation.

- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and reporting skills.

- Prior experience in large, process-driven organizations preferred.
