Assistant Finance Manager - IT Services

Position:- Finance Specialist / Assistant Manager Finance

Role Overview:

The Finance Specialist will primarily support Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), budgeting, and financial reporting under Indian GAAP. The role will work closely with senior finance leadership to ensure accurate financial planning, cost control, and performance tracking. Limited involvement in payroll and routine finance operations is expected.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Budgeting:

- Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes

- Prepare variance analysis and track performance against budgets

- Assist in preparation of project / vertical P&L reports

- Provide analytical insights to improve margins and cost efficiency

- Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards

Financial Reporting & Compliance (Indian GAAP):

- Assist in monthly and annual financial closing as per Indian GAAP

- Support statutory compliance, audit coordination, and documentation

- Ensure adherence to internal financial controls

Finance Operations (Limited Exposure):

- Support basic payroll coordination and reconciliations

- Assist in routine accounting entries and working capital tracking

Key Skills & Competencies:

- 6+ years of experience in FP&A, budgeting, and financial reporting

- Strong knowledge of Indian GAAP and statutory compliance

- Experience in the services industry financial models preferred

- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability

- Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

- Detail-oriented, proactive, and organised.
